The IHS symbol for Jesus is at the center of the back orphrey of the chasuble. The rest of the needlepoint on front and back is a colorful floral in shades of pink, purple, green, gold and brown. The chasuble is trimmed in gold and dark gold banding. It is lined in a plain pale gold satin fabric. The chasuble measures 46 inches from the top of the shoulder to the back lower hem and 25.5 inches wide in the back. This chasuble is in overall nice condition. The white satin fabric has some small soiled spots/areas. There is a pale stain wine? On the front needlepoint orphrey (please see photo). The needlepoint colors remain bright and there are no missing stitches. The interior tie cords are intact. The satin fabric is a bit wrinkled. I try very hard to accurately describe my items. Because I deal mostly in vintage collectibles and antiques, most of my items will have signs of previous use or age wear. I will do my best to find a satisfactory resolution.
