Chasuble Vestment Kasel Messgewand

Here I have a brand new, very fine Off White OFM Chasuble. I took it out of the wrapper to take pictures only. It is unlined and a medium lightweight fabric. It has a lined matching stole which could be worn outside or inside, depending on the desire of the wearer. The front design is embroidered with the Coat of Arms of the Franciscan Order. The Franciscan coat of arms is a universal symbol of the Franciscans containing the Cross, with two crossed arms: Christs right hand with the nail wound and Francis left hand with the stigmata wound. The reverse side features another embroidery, this time the Tau Cross from which hangs the Franciscan cord with the 3 knots symbolizing their 3 vows: Poverty, Chastity and Obedience. It has a cowl style collar. It has a gold banding all around its edges. The stole has gold crosses at each end and a gold cross at the center. The measurements are as follows: Chasuble is 56 inches across the top and 48 inches from top to bottom. The lined Stole is 44 inches on each side or 88 inches from end to end. Each end of the Stole has gold Crosses and a gold Cross in the center. These would make a perfect addition to any Church’s Sacristy. Or a gift for your favorite Priest.
